Montserrat St. Patricks Day is seen as a day of celebration to acknowledge its Irish influences whilst honouring their people’s unique blend of heritages. During their St. Patricks Day celebrations, the people of Montserrat honour the enslaved who once rebelled against the Irish culture entering their communities. From steel drums and masked dancers in the annual parade to the goat water stew and active volcano, St. Patricks Day celebrations in Montserrat are not your typical St. Patricks Day celebrations that you would find in Ireland.
